Musings

Since the end of March, I’ve mainly worked from home. I’m not sure what we’re waiting on to officially go back to the office, but I guess we're waiting on something.

Working from home has its challenges at times, but there are plenty of pluses. One big plus is my little deck-side garden. It isn't terribly fancy, but it's been so rewarding, being able to nurture and enjoy it every day.

During the spring, I often ate lunch on the deck, marveling at God’s handiwork and giving thanks for all he’s done and all he’s doing. I even brought my laptop out on occasion and worked amongst his glorious creation. Of course, the blazing summer heat has put an end to dining alfresco, but I’ve at least been able to keep the plants watered and alive, unlike summers past.

Personally, I hope we get back to the office soon, and I can get back to a more structured, connected life. However, until that happens, I’ll keep counting my bountiful blessings and enjoying every lovely bloom.

"I have learned in whatsoever state I am in therewith to be content," Philippians 4:11.
