So, it's National Daughters Day 2025. When the doctor said "It's a girl," her father and I were delighted. We named her Leslie Loran, after my maternal grandmother Lora Lucille. Leslie Loran has brought much joy to my life, and I'm glad God chose me to be her mother. I'm also glad God made me the daughter of A. L. and Ruth Allen. Their prayers have sustained me through many storms in my life, and their love is indelibly stamped on my heart. Here is a favorite picture of me, Mother, and Leslie, once upon a time on Rosewood.
