Goodbye, 2022

 In a few hours, the clock will strike midnight and a new year will officially begin. Nobody knows what 2023 holds, but as 2022 ticks away, I am confident of these things:

1. Earth angels exist.

2. An ordinary day is the very best kind.

3. There is no “your truth” or “my truth.”

4. Truth is what actually happened.

5. Friends who pray for you are priceless treasures.

6. A small thing can make a big difference.

7. “Narrow is the way” that leads to life.

8. A narrow road is restrictive and hard to travel.

9. Being cheerful doesn’t require being happy.

10. Only God can change a heart.

11. Skinny is overrated.

12. Letting God fight your battles requires self-control.

13. Rewriting history doesn’t change it.

14. A loving family is life’s greatest blessing.

15. A child still spells love: T.I.M.E.

Whatever the coming year brings to you, dear friend, remember that God is sovereign, his ways are higher, and the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.
