I decided to do lunch on the deck this afternoon and enjoy some sunshine on my shoulders before the clouds rolled in. Whether it’s the beach, the mountains or in my own backyard, nothing refreshes my mind, body and spirit like the sounds of nature can. The wind was the star attraction today, rustling through the barren branches of the trees. Occasionally, a strong gust sent dead leaves twirling like ballerinas on a stage, as my wind chime played beautifully along. It was a much-needed break from the humdrum of work, and it didn’t cost me a dime.
As I type, a cool drizzle is falling outside, and I just have one question for the informed people of the world: Is it a sin to eat comfort food when you don’t need comforting? I sure hope not. This cheese dip is really good.
Until we meet again, my friends, God bless you everyone.
