Faithful God

Ten years ago today, I started what was supposed to be a two-week temporary assignment at a global manufacturing company six miles from my front door. It’s a long story—why I was there, and how I’m still there—but trust me, it’s one of those stories you look back on and see God’s fingerprints and favor all over it.
To the two people who saw my worth during those initial weeks, months and years, my gratitude is immense. You know who you are, and I thank God for you often. Your decisions changed my life in significant ways.
Of course, no job is secure in the corporate world, and I never take my job for granted. I've seen firsthand that things can change on a dime. However, no matter what the future might hold for me, I know I’ll be OK. If I’ve learned anything at all in my almost 18 years of flying solo, it is this: An employer provides my paycheck, but God provides my needs. If I’ll be faithful to him in the hard times, he’ll be faithful to me when times are hard.
Now, let’s go celebrate, y'all! My treat!
