It's been a special day (and weekend) with Miss Audrey. Today was the first time she's been to church with Nonni since she was a newborn, I joined twin sister and her hubby, and my beautiful expectant niece joined us as well—a lovely treat, indeed.
To nobody's surprise, Miss Audrey was full of vigor and delighted by it all. She was also her charming self, smiling at everyone around her with that mesmerizing smile of hers. When things weren't hopping at her speed, she settled in with her beloved books beside me on the pew. I've truly never seen any child so captivated by books. Never.
Needless to say, Nonni is worn out, but it's a good tired that all you grandparents understand. I hope your weekend has been a good one and that the coming week holds blessings untold.
